Nestled on the banks of the Olentangy River, Ohio Stadium is the fourth largest facility in college football. Built in 1922, the home of the Buckeyes was the first and largest horseshoe-shaped double-deck stadium in the U.S. With a seating capacity of 66,210 it was doubted that it would ever be filled, but skeptics were disproved when the dedication game, held on October 21, 1922 against Michigan, witnessed an overflow crowd of 71,385. Today the stadium seats nearly 102,000. The original cost was approximately $1.3 million and was primarily funded through private donations. On the list of national landmarks the stadium has hosted more than 30 million spectators.

We handcraft this OSU Stadium piece from 3/4" thick wood in our Wooster, Ohio workshop, printed details on the front and a description on the back.

You can set this wooden keepsake on a shelf, desk, mantle, wainscoting or perch it on the trim above your window or door. Group it with other Ohio State Cat's Meows to show your loyalty to the 'greatest college team in the U.S."
