By virtue of its proximity to Valley Forge State Park, this bridge is now claimed to be the most often painted and photographed covered bridge in Chester County,  The bridge is said to have been named after Philander C. Knox, a United States Senator from Pennsylvania who owned 256 acres of land near the bridge and General Henry Knox, an officer who quartered at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-1778.

This covered bridge is created in collaboration with the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of Pennsylvania. $2 from your purchase will be donated to the Society to continue preservation efforts across the U.S.

This keepsake is hand-crafted from ¾” thick wood with a detailed front design and a short description on the back. You can set it neatly on a shelf, desk or narrow ledge such as window, door trim, or wainscoting. Group it with other Cat’s Meows to create your own memory of the special places you have visited. Look for our black cat, Casper, perched on the cool cement step inside the bridge. He's our official mascot, which means you'll possess an authentic Cat's Meow.
