Mister Rogers, X the Owl & Henrietta Pussycat's Tree handcrafted in the USA by Cat's Meow Village.

If you have memories of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, then our 3/4" thick wooden replica of Henrietta & X the Owl will sit perfectly on your desk, shelf, windowsill or mantle to remind you (and your children) of the shows and teaching of Mister Rogers.

This story is printed on the back of the replica:

Henrietta Pussycat and X the Owl couldn’t be any more different, but what made them unique made them fantastic neighbors and best of friends in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

X is a well-read and sometimes bossy owl whose hero Benjamin Franklin inspired him to learn all he could. X was once caged at the county fair until his friend Daniel S. Tiger told him to “X SCAPE,” thus coining his nickname X, since he “X-scaped” from his cage.

Henrietta is sweet and shy and uses the word “meow” in most of her sentences. One thing is for certain, she is an elegant and sometimes stubborn kitty who loves to dress up.

Do you know whose house the dangling bell rang? X or Henrietta? Think elegance, think chic, think... Henrietta!

We handcraft this in our Wooster, Ohio workshop just 130 miles west of Pittsburgh where Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe lived at WQED from 1968 through 2001.

We add our black cat mascot, Casper, to every design we create. Look closely and you'll find Casper perched on a tree branch listening to Henrietta and X's conversation. Plus, Casper confessed that he has a crush on Henrietta.
