If you have memories of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, then our 3/4" thick wooden replica of the Neighborhood Trolley will sit perfectly on your desk, shelf, windowsill or mantle to remind you (and your children) of the shows and teaching of Mister Rogers.
This story is printed on the back of the trolley:
Do you hear that sound? .... Sure you do! ... The rumble of the lower keys with a few high notes on the piano alerts us that Trolley is on its way!
Mister Rogers’ Trolley transitioned children from the real world of Mister Rogers’ “Television House” to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe where anything could happen.
As Trolley traveled through a tunnel in Mister Rogers’ home, children delighted in the fact that soon they would arrive in a place where they could use their imagination to play and pretend about situations and feelings in their own lives.
We handcraft this in our Wooster, Ohio workshop just 130 miles west of Pittsburgh where Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe lived at WQED from 1968 through 2001.
We add our black cat mascot, Casper, to every design we create. Look closely and you'll find Casper sitting in the grass under the trolley track. He's planning how he's going to catch that trolley someday to the Make-Believe Neighborhood.
