"Old Ironsides" launched October 21, 1797. The USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, earned her nickname, "Old Ironsides," in the War of 1812. During her battle against HMS GUERRIERE, a sailor shouted "Huzzah! Her sides are made of iron!" when he noticed the British cannonballs "bounce" off her thick oak hull. Today she is anchored at Charlestown, MA, Boston National Park.

This boat is handcrafted from ¾” thick wood in the U.S. The colorful details on the front also include our famous black cat mascot, Casper, reclining on the ship railing.

The back includes a short description. You can set this keepsake on a mantle, shelf, desk, or perch it on the molding above your window or doorway. Group it with other Cat’s Meows to create your very own Village.
