The vehicle and passenger ferry, SS Badger, has been in service on Lake Michigan since 1953. It connects U.S. Highway 10 between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
The 60-mile cross-lake trip takes 4 hours in this historic coal-fired steamship. On January 20, 2016, it was designated a National Historic Landmark.
Arrange this steamship replica with the other coastal Cat's Meows to bring the seashore right in your home!
We handcraft it from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and a story on the back. Look closely, you'll find Casper, our black cat mascot, at the head of the ship waiting to jump out on dry land.
Photo for this steamship was taken and provided by Cat's Meow citizen and Michigan summer resident, Sandy Lea.
Handcrafted in our Wooster, Ohio workshop, not anywhere close to water or a long ride on a steamship!
