Boots Motel sits along Route 66 in Carthage, Missouri, and was popular during the 1930s and 1940s.

Route 66 from Chicago, IL to Santa Monica, CA, fondly known as the Mother Road, was one of the original highway systems in the US. It was established in November 1926.

Many people who migrated west on this road would have stopped in Carthage, MI to stay overnight at the Boots Motel.

We handcraft this replica in 3/4" wood capturing the essence of its heyday.

You know you have an authentic Cat's Meow when you find our black cat mascot, Casper hiding on each creation. Look closely and you'll find him curled up on a lawn chair outside the office door of the Boots Motel.
