Handcrafted wooden shelf sitter of Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Pescadero, CA - by The Cat's Meow Village

This Pigeon Point Light  keepsake is handcrafted in the U.S. from ¾” thick wood with a detailed front design and a written description on the back. It can set neatly on a shelf, desk or narrow ledge such as window or door trim. Group it with other Cat’s Meows to create your own little Village! Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, sitting or reclining within the design.

On the back - Pigeon Point received its name from the Carrier Pigeon freighter that crashed on the rocks around this point nearly 20 years prior to its existence. This tower, which is one of the tallest on the Pacific Coast, was built in 1872 with brick shipped around Cape Horn from the East. This lighthouse now serves as a hostel.
