Ohio State's Buckeye Grove tradition stretches back to the 1890's when a buckeye tree was planted in recognition of Ohio State's first football team. Since 1934 buckeye trees have been planted in the Buckeye Grove each spring to honor each Ohio State football player recognized as All-American from the previous season.
This OSU keepsake is handcrafted from 3/4" thick wood with a detailed front design and a description of the grove on the back. It can sit neatly on a shelf, desk or narrow ledge such as window, door trim, or wainscoting. Group it with other OSU Cat’s Meows to create your own little pep rally!
