This Old Point Comfort Lighthouse keepsake represnts the second oldest lighthouse in Virginia, located at the mouth of the James River.
It was built in 1802 and remains an active navigational aid today. During the War of 1812 the tower was used as a lookout by a British invasion force.
We handcraft this lighthouse in Wooster, Ohio from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and a history written on the back.
Set it on a shelf, ledge or trim above your window or doorway to remind you of your visit to this lighthouse or your dream of visiting one day.
