This icon of our nation's first national park, Yellowstone National Park, is located in the Upper Geyser Basin - home to the majority of the world's active geysers. Although it is not the largest geyser, it is the most reliable with eruptions approximately every 90 minutes. Expelling 3,700 to 8,400 gallons of boiling water to a height of 106 to 184 feet in the air for 1.5 to 5 minutes gives the visitor ample picture-taking opportunities.
This ¾" thick handcrafted wooden replica of Old Faithful Geyser is designed and painted to reflect its historical features. It can set neatly on a shelf, wainscoting, or window/door trim to remind you of a special place you've visited or dream of visiting someday. A short description is written on the back.
