This keepsake of Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse is part of a five-piece collection featuring 1995 USPS 32 cent stamps. It is handcrafted in the U.S. from ¾” thick wood with colorful details of the lighthouse printed on the front and a 1996 hand-canceled postage stamp on the back. There is a very limited quantity of this lighthouse with canceled stamp available.
A convenient mile marker, Thirty Mile Point, is located 30 miles east of the mouth of the Niagara River on Lake Ontario. It was constructed in 1875 and remained in service for more than 80 years. Today, it is an attraction of Golden Hill State Park.
