This house sits as the southern anchor of one of the most photographed streets in America. The 13 houses on this street are known as Rainbow Row due to the bright colors they were painted when they were restored during the 1930s and 40s.
Not far from Waterfront Park in Charleston, SC, 79-81 East Bay Street was built in two parts with 79 East Bay as the newest construction on the street around 1845.
