This ¾” thick Ada Mae's Quilt Barn is hand screen printed on the front and back. It is part of a four-piece series of buildings called Ohio Amish Series, created by Cat’s Meow founder, Faline Jones, in her nineth year of business. This series was introduced in 1991 and retired January 1998.
The art of quilting is very important amont the Amish, with the simple patterns, solid colors and detailed stitching. This particular quilt pattern is called Ohio Bear Paw, circa 1940. The barn is named after my brother's Amish classmate, Ada Mae.
Look for our trademark black cat, Casper, on every Cat’s Meow. Handcrafted in our Wooster, Ohio workshop.
There are a limited number of this piece available, which is reflected in the price.
