This lake is the deepest in the United States at 102 ft. Near the western edged of the lake you’ll find Wizard Island which was built from underwater eruptions.
Today, you can drive the 33-mile historic Rim Drive along the lake during summer and early fall. There are 30 overlooks where you can discover geological formations and environmental features.
