Found along the Pacific coasts of North America and Asia, Sea Otters are among the smallest of the marine mammals.
Aren't you just mesmerized watching their antics?
The best place to encounter a sea otter in its natural habitat is out on the water! Rent a kayak or paddleboard or take a boat tour to observe these inquisitive animals in action. You will most likely see more than one! You can often find groups of bachelor otters huddled together in "rafts," a group of single-sex sea otters and they typically contain 2 to 100 of the furry little creatures! Otters in rafts often sleep side-by-side, wrapped up in strands of kelp, so that they don't drift far from each other.
We handcraft these otters in 3/4" thick wood so you can set them on your desk, nightstand, bookshelf or anywhere else you want to catch a glimpse to bring a quick smile to your day.
Of course, our black cat mascot, Casper, wants to get in on all the otter fun, too!
