This "Big Tree" as visitors often call it is located in the Convento Courtyard on the grounds of The Alamo, Shrine of Texas Liberty.

Walter Whall relocated a 40-year-old Live Oak tree to this location on a cart pulled by four mules.

Today, the tree has a trunk girth of about 12.5 feet and a canopy spread of 88 feet, standing 39 feet high.

Add this to other San Antonio Cat's Meows.

We handcraft it in 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and its story on the back.

Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, lazing on one of the low branches.
