Hereford Inlet Life Saving Station No. 36 was constructed in 1871 to help ships navigate through the Atlantic Coastline and the rough currents.

In 1889, there was a hurricane, causing many citizens of Anglesea to flee to the lighthouse. In 1913, there was a large storm, bringing the water destructively close to the lighthouse.

The water damaged the structure and integrity of the lighthouse, so it was moved 150ft to the west where it stands proudly now.

Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, who feels right at home anywhere near the water!

We handcraft the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse in 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and history on the back.

Add it to your home or office decor to remind you of your trip.
