This lighthouse continues to serve as an active aid-to-navigation maintained by the US Coast Guard. But, did you know it's owned privately?
Sheila Consual bought Fairport Harbor West in an auction in 2011. And since that day she has been working to update and improve it. Making it her summer home.
It was built and first lit on June 9, 1925 and is listed on the National Register of HIstoric Places.
