Opened in 1967, the Phillips Beach Plaza Hotel was a local staple that welcomed tourists for almost five decades and provided an experience unlike any other. You could find cozy and comfortable rooms with hand picked antique Victorian styled furniture. An oceanfront hotel with a tradition of beauty and hospitality, it was the home base for so many beach vacations, weekend getaways, wedding and anniversary celebrations and reunions, creating unforgettable memories in Ocean City. The hotel closed in January of 2021.
