West Quoddy Lighthouse, in Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec, Maine is the easternmost pointof the contiguous United States. Since 1808, here has been a lighthouse there to guide ships through the Quoddy Narrows.
The current lighthouse, built in 1858, with the red and white tower, is the only "candy striped" tower in the Unites States and is still an active aid to navigation.
Handcrafted by our small workshop crew in Wooster, Ohio, this replica is made from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and a little description on the back.
Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, keeping a watchful eye on the sea gulls, pawsibly waiting for some scraps to be dropped! He's the sign of an authentic Cat's Meow!
