Located at 1 First Street NE in Washington, DC, this Supreme Court of the United States building was completed on April 4, 1935.

The US Supreme Court spent its first 146 years without a home to call its own. In 1929, architect Cass Gilbert was selected to design this building.

"The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish." ~Article III of the US Constitution.

We handcraft this replica in 3/4" thick wood with architectural details on the front and the story on the back. You can find Casper, our black cat mascot, lounging in a sunny spot near the foundation on the building.

This piece is the purrfect size to add to a mantle, bookcase, shelf or perch on the molding above a door or window.
