What would you do if you saw the ghost of a lighthouse keeper's wife who used to walk along the rocks on hot summer nights! Be a scaredy cat? Casper, our black mascot cat, would like to think he is fearless!
Castle Hill Light is an active lighthouse, built in 1890 to mark the east side of the entrance to Narragansett Bay's East Passage. It remains an important active aid to navigation, showing a flashing red light every thirty seconds.
It has also been used countless times as a beginning and ending point for the famous yacht races taking place in Newport.
We've crafted this lighthouse from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and it's story printed on the back. Made in the USA.
