The Call of the Wild, a novel authored by Jack London in 1903, is the story of Buck, a 140 pound, 4-year-old Scotch Shepherd and Saint Bernard mix that was born into a comfortable life as a family pet.

This classic adventure story and now upcoming movie of the same name starring Harrison Ford, is told from the point of view of Buck.  After being kidnapped and sold to become a sled dog he joins the craziness of the Klondike Gold Rush..

Buck tells his story of his various owners, each of which teaches him survival lessons that eventually leads him to his final destiny.

We handcraft Buck from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details printed on the front and a short story on the back. Set it on a bookshelf, mantle, windowsill, or perch it, with the rest of the collection, on the trim above your doorway or window.

Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, catnapping under the bushes! He's the sign of an authentic Cat's Meow.
