Alaska Geographic, Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center is located in the historic White Pass & Yukon Route depot.

Talk to a ranger, learn about daily programs, watch park film "Gold Fever: Race to the Klondike," and more. Restrooms, water stations, and benches are available for visitors.

The Call of the Wild, a novel authored by Jack London in 1903, is the story of Buck, a 140 pound, 4-year-old Scotch Shepherd and Saint Bernard mix. This classic adventure story and now an upcoming movie of the same name starring Harrison Ford is told from the point of view of Buck. This location was where miners stopped before heading out to the Klondike.

Look for Casper patiently waiting to coMEWnicate with locals and tourists! He's our official mascot, which means you'll possess an authentic Cat's Meow.

This Alaska keepsake is hand-crafted from ¾” thick wood with detailed front design and a short description on the back. You can set it neatly on a shelf, desk or narrow ledge such as window, door trim, or wainscoting. Group it with other Cat’s Meows to create your own little Village!
