This Maple Sugar House keepsake, created from 3/4" thick wood, sets neatly on a shelf, desk, or window/door trim. The front design portrays a sugar house resembling those found close to The Cat's Meow Village in Wooster, OH. A short written description is on the back of the piece.

Pure maple syrup, 100% natural and delightful, is made only in eastern North America.  With only a six weeks window, Sugar or Black Maples are tapped anywhere from mid-February through April.  Weather conditions must be right for the sap to flow, freezing at night and a thaw during the day.  Though the equipment has changed over the years, the process is still the same as when the Native Americans taught European settlers how to make "Zinsibukwud."  This unique product enjoyed around the world, requires ten gallons of sap to make just one quart of syrup.
