This ¾” thick Isaac Potts House is hand screen printed on the front and a short description on the back. It is part of a eight-piece series of buildings called Series XVII, Revolutionary War Series, created by Cat’s Meow founder, Faline Jones, in her seventeeth year of business. This series was introduced on January 1, 1999 and retired on December 31, 2003.
The winter of 1777-1778 took its toll on Washington's army and more than 2,000 American soldiers died of disease and exposure to the cold. Isaac Potts House was Washington's headquarters and the focal point for the camp training Prussian General von Stueben ran to transform the poorly clothed and underfed American soldiers into an effective, confident, fighting force.
