Remember your trip to Edinburgh Castle with this 3/4" thick wooden replica you can place on your bookshelf, desk, windowsill, shelf or ledge above your doorway.
This historic fortress, perched on Castle Rock, dominates the skyline of Edinburgh, Scotland. It’s one of the biggest tourist attractions of the country. No one knows when a fortress was first built on this rock. But current buildings of this fortress date back to the 12th to 18th centuries.
Through the years the castle has been used as a royal residence, prison and army garrison and has changed hands between England and Scotland several times. It’s even been said to be haunted.
This view of the castle includes the famous Ross Fountain of Princes Street Gardens which was unveiled in 1872 and most recently restored.
