The oldest uninterrupted major world civilization, the third largest country (in territory), the most populous country with over one bullion citizens, seems to be a land shrouded in mystique. But how can that be when they have given the world such everyday things as the wheelbarrow, compass, fireworks, hand-held fans, boat rudders, paper, ink, printing machines, rockets, cast iron, matches, silk, origami and much, much more?
