This ¾” thick Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is hand screen printed on the front and back. It is part of a four-piece series of buildings called Lighthouse Series, created by Cat’s Meow founder, Faline Jones, in her eighth year of business. This series was introduced in 1990 and retired January 1996.
This lighthouse, a famous symbol on the Outer Banks was placed strategically placed in the stretch of coast known as "the Graveyard of the Atlantic". Standing 193 feet tall, this black and white spiral-banded lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in America.
