This ¾” thick Booth & Co. is hand screen printed on the front with a short description on the back. It is part of a eight-piece series called California Gold Rush Series, created by Cat’s Meow founder, Faline Jones, in her seventeenth year of business. This series was introduced on January 1, 1999 and retired on December 31, 2003.
Newton Booth built one of the largest wholesale grocery stores on the west coast. He had a platform installed on the roof of the building so that incoming cargo ships could signal their cargo's worth and give him the advantage over his competitors.
Look for our trademark black cat, Casper, on every Cat’s Meow. Handcrafted in our Wooster, Ohio workshop.
