This sculpture of a mama mallard duck and her 8 ducklings was inspired by Robert McCloskey’s 1941 "Make Way For Ducklings" book.
Crafted by Nancy Schon, it was installed on October 4, 1987, in the Boston Gardens area of Boston, Massachusetts.
This small group of mallard statues has made a big impact in a city of "big" attractions.
Our 3/4" thick replica will remind you of that time when you searched and found Mrs. Mallard and her 8 ducklings.
Set it on a windowsill, desk, shelf, bookcase, or anywhere you can catch a glimpse during your day. It will transport you right back to that spot and the magical time you spent there.
We've included Casper, our black cat mascot, sitting next to a tree, guarding the ducklings so they don't get hurt!
