The General Thomas Nelson Jr. House stands at the corner of Main and Nelson Streets in Yorktown, Virginia.

In 1711 "Scotch Tom" Nelson, the grandfather of Thomas Nelson, Jr., began to build the large Georgian mansion that would be known as the Nelson House. Thomas Nelson, Jr. was the most famous of the Nelson family. He served in the Continental Congress and was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. During the Revolutionary War he served as the Commanding General of the Virginia Militia and was with General Washington at the Siege of Yorktown. This house is in the Yorktown Battlefield Part of Colonial National Historical Park in Virginia.

We handcraft this Cats Meow from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and a short history written on the back.

Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, hiding in the bushes by the front door!
