John Adams Birthplace is at 141 Franklin Street in the Adams National Historical Park located in Quincy, Massachusetts.
This house and six acres of land were purchased by John Adams' father, Deacon John Adams, in 1720. On October 30, 1735, John Adams, our nation's second president, was born here. Although his brother, Peter Boylston Adams inherited this home, John bought it from him in 1774. By then, John and Abigail Adams were living in an adjacent house (bequeathed to him by his father), where they continued to live, and rented out this birthplace during the Revolutionary War.
We handcraft this Cats Meow from 3/4" thick wood with colorful details on the front and a short history written on the back.
Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, outside the door waiting to share all about John Adams Birthplace with you!
It can set neatly on a shelf, desk or narrow ledge such as window, door trim, or wainscoting. Group it with other Cat’s Meows to create your own little Village!
