Hartwell Tavern, a "witness" to the battle of April 19, 1775, is a restored 18th century home and tavern dating to 1732-33. Home to Ephraim and Elizabeth Hartwell in 1775.
Ephraim and two of their sons fought in the battle which passed very near the house on April 19th.
