During the heyday of Mystic Seaport's shipbuilding activites in the 1850s, this Greenmanville Church was the focus of the town's Seventh Day Baptist community.
The museum acquired this church in 1955, and moved it from its original location near the museum entrance to its current location.
Did you know the Mystic Seaport Museum is the largest of its kind in the United States? Our black cat mascot, Casper, didn't know that either! Actually, you'll find him sitting on the front steps of this church.
We handcraft this church in 3/4" wood with architectural details on the front and a short history written on the back.
