The Hope Memorial Bridge (aka the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge) crosses the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio. This bridge connects Lorain Avenue and Carnegie Avenue ending just short of Progressive Field.
There are 4 massive stone pylons at the corners of the bridge carved with 8 figures representing 8 Guardians Of Transportation.
This pair of Guardians includes a Stage Coach and Concrete Truck.
You get both pieces when you purchase.
We handcraft these in 3/4" thick wood in our Wooster, Ohio workshop.
A little trivia: the Cleveland Indians baseball team was inspired by this bridge to rename its team, The Guardians, in 2021.
