This ¾” thick 100 Years of Flight is hand screen printed on the front and has a short description on the back. It is a Special Release piece, created by Cat’s Meow founder, Faline Jones, in her twenty-first year of business. This piece was introduced in November 2003 and only 1,035 were printed. Each piece is numbered on the back.
On December 17, 1903, the world's first manned and powered flight took off. It lasted 12 seconds and advanced 120 feet. Wilbur and Orville Wright flew a total of four flights that day, lasting a total of 59 seconds and covering 852 feet.
