Did you know there’s over 330 million neighbors all across America that live in interesting places just like you?
And there’s so much to learn about all these unique neighborhoods.
>>>> Use these free printable activities (link below) to include kids and grandkids in your family travel plans.
A little background: When the pandemic hit, I wanted to offer something for families who, all of a sudden, were teaching their kids at home. It didn’t take me long to pull out a folder of t-shirt designs we created from our State Maps for one of our past conventions.
What's the best part about these coloring pages and activities? (find the link below the photos)
They're purrfect for including kids and grandkids in your family travel plans!
- Print out coloring pages for every state you'll be visiting, or where relatives/friends live.
- Print a puzzle outline on the back of the states, then cut apart for fun puzzle time. Level it up by mixing 2 or more states puzzle pieces!
- Print and cut apart a deck of state cards (make it 2 decks to play matching games).
- Go a little further with activity sheets for that boring travel time...are we there yet?
I also worked up activities for different grade levels that you can print to go along with the State Maps pages.
Of course, I kid tested the activities with my daughter and grandkids, plus asked my teacher friend to review them.
I hope you agree...they are kid and family-friendly!
