Welcome to the world of The Cat's Meow® Village! This village is full of two-dimensional wooden buildings and accessories that fit in the palm of your hand. Many of these handcrafted keepsakes represent significant structures and points of interest across the United States and around the world.
Faline, creator of Cat's Meow, began creating her unique designs in the fall of 1982. Faline enjoyed many crafts, but the workmanship and creativity of her Village catapulted her crafts to a new superior level and demand for them grew rapidly. What had begun as twelve designs available at two local stores in Wooster, Ohio, quickly gained in popularity throughout the United States. Today, Cat's Meow keepsakes have been created for nearly 1,000 retail locations in 50 states nationwide. Cat's Meows are also available on-line at www.catsmeow.com.
In the world of keepsakes, The Cat's Meow® Village stands proudly unsurpassed. Each piece is handcrafted, traveling through a seven-stage production process, which includes cutting, printing, and individual hand finishing. We take great pride in every keepsake that passes from our hands to yours. It is this pride, intricate styling and craftsmanship that create such a high quality keepsake. Cat's Meow offers an affordable way to capture cherished memories of childhood, family vacations and far away places yet to be explored. Only The Cat's Meow® Village can represent so much for so many people. The value of such memories given as a gift is immeasurable.
Casper, the famous black cat trademark, can be found on every piece along with Faline's signature. This trademark black cat can only be found on authentic Cat's Meow keepsakes. Faline always looks forward to researching history and continues to select all the pieces in the national line. Faline also appreciates when people take the time to share new product ideas and suggestions with her. As a result, The Cat's Meow® now offers a wide assortment of product including jewelry, totes and t-shirts.
